As we continue expanding into Bulgaria and build our operation, we're searching for a talented and motivated Engineering Manager. Our business is built on finding exceptional talent and empowering them to build and improve our service offerings.\nYou will work remotely from Bulgaria and will be reporting to an Engineering Director.\nYou Will:\nManage a team of software engineers to deliver great products to our customers\nOversee the development and success of one or more products\nLead, coach, and inspire your team to achieve quality software\nCollaborate with partners across the company, including product management, UX, and customer teams\nEstablish lean engineering processes that use collaboration and rapid iteration to build the right product for the right problems\nHire and grow your team by promoting engineering excellence and career development\nYou Have:\nYou have 8+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years managing software engineering teams.\nYou have deep software development skills in at least one systems development language, such as Java, Go, C++, or Python.\nYou have experience with modern technology stacks with a passion for building scalable, highly available customer-facing cloud applications.\nYou have experience in a technology that you're personally excited about, such as distributed systems, systems automation, and cloud technologies.\nYou like to dive in, learn new things, and want to build outstanding products.\nLegally eligible to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis.\nProficiency in English is required.\nSmartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location.
