Our core platform includes a legacy Java monolith alongside a growing ecosystem of microservices, primarily built in Java and Go (with a small number of Kotlin services). On the front end, product teams that deliver UI experiences use React.\nYou will work remotely from Bulgaria and will be reporting to an engineering leader.\nYou Will:\nContribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to release, ensuring quality at every step.\nParticipate in system architecture discussions to design scalable, high-availability applications.\nImplement new features and improve existing functionality to enhance our product offerings..\nMaintain and develop service APIs that serve millions of users.\nCollaborate with systems engineers to debug infrastructure challenges.\nTake part in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution to maintain the reliability of our systems.\nWork across multiple disciplines such as front-end, back-end, test automation, and infrastructure to broaden your technical expertise.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nYou Have:\nExperience with programming languages like Golang, Java, C, or Node.js.\nFamiliarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js) \nKnowledge of Object-Oriented design and Microservice Architecture.\nExperience with scalable, high-availability applications.\nComfort working in Linux command line environments.\nA degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.\nLegally eligible to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis.\nFluency in English is required.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with DynamoDB, MySQL, or other relational and non-relational databases.\nFamiliarity with AWS and Docker, or AWS certifications (AWS Developer, AWS Solution Architect).\nExperience with service orchestration tools like Kubernetes or HashiCorp\nGet to Know Us:\nAt Smartsheet, your ideas are heard, your potential is supported, and your contributions have real impact.
