You will own the product roadmap and serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and an agile delivery team to ensure the right work gets prioritized, scoped, and shipped at the right time.\nThis is a high-impact role at the intersection of enterprise systems, business strategy, and Scaled agile execution. This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.\nYou Will:\nPartner with the Director of Field Systems to define, maintain, and communicate a prioritized product roadmap aligned to company go-to-market objectives\n\nContinuously assess the value, urgency, and feasibility of roadmap initiatives to ensure the team is always working on the highest-impact problems\n\nTranslate strategic priorities into quarterly PI (Program Increment) objectives within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)\n\nEngage directly with internal stakeholders including Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success and Technical Support to deeply understand pain points, workflows, and business goals\n\nDefine clear epics, features, and user stories with well-articulated acceptance criteria.\n\nLead discovery activities including stakeholder interviews, process walkthroughs, and data analysis to inform solution design\n\nLeverage AI tools such as Claude and Gemini to accelerate requirements documentation, synthesize stakeholder feedback, draft communications, and surface insights from data bringing a modern, AI-augmented approach to everyday PM work\n\nServe as the Product Owner for the agile team, owning and grooming the team backlog to ensure a healthy queue of well-refined work\n\nActively participate in SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and System Demos\n\nMake real-time prioritization and trade-off decisions to keep the team moving and unblocked\n\nMaintain transparent, proactive communication with stakeholders on roadmap status, delivery timelines, and change impacts\n\nBuild trust with business partners by consistently delivering on commitments and surfacing risks early\n\nCollaborate with change management and enablement teams to ensure successful adoption of new capabilities\n\nDefine success metrics for features and initiatives; track outcomes post-deployment and use data to inform future prioritization\n\nDrive retrospective insights from delivery into roadmap refinement and team process improvements\n\nYou Have:\n5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on go-to market tools and platform products in an enterprise environment\n\nDemonstrated experience working within SAFe or agile framework, including PI Planning and cross-team coordination\n\nStrong product sense with experience balancing user needs, business value, and technical feasibility\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently to senior leaders and technical teams alike\n\nExperience writing detailed epics and features, lean business cases, and user stories with strong assumptions and acceptance criteria\n\nComfort with data including the ability to query data, interpret metrics, and build business cases\n\nSalesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification\n\nExperience supporting sales operations, revenue operations, or marketing operations functions\n\nFamiliarity with CPQ, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud implementations\n\nHands-on experience with AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) applied to PM workflows such as documentation, research, or analysis.\n\nSAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification\n\nLegally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis\n\nCurrent US Perks & Benefits:\n\nEmployer subsidized medical/vision and dental coverage for full-time employees\n\n401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay)\n\nMonthly stipend to support your work and productivity\n\nFlexible Time Away Program, plus Sick Time Off\n\nUS employees are automatically covered under Smartsheet-sponsored life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans\n\nUS employees receive 12 paid holidays per year\n\nUp to 24 weeks of Parental Leave\n\nPersonal paid Volunteer Day to support our community\n\nOpportunities for professional growth and development including access to Udemy online courses\n\nCompany Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account\n\nTeleworking options from any registered location in the U.S. (role specific)\n\nSmartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from.
