The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware vSphere, DNS, DHCP, AWS, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and enterprise infrastructure operations.\n\nMandatory Requirements:\n\n- Hands-on experience in either Citrix OR Nutanix is mandatory.\n\n- VMware vSphere Mandatory.\n\n- Windows Server 2016/2019 Mandatory.\n\n- Active Directory & Group Policy Mandatory.\n\n- DNS & DHCP Mandatory.\n\n- Windows/Linux Server Administration Mandatory.\n\n- Server Troubleshooting Mandatory.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Provide senior-level engineering and technical support for enterprise server infrastructure.\n\n- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016/2019 environments.\n\n- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.\n\n- Build, configure, and administer Windows and Linux virtual machines.\n\n- Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments.\n\n- Manage and support Citrix OR Nutanix infrastructure based on organizational requirements.\n\n- Configure and manage relevant AWS services; Azure exposure is an added advantage.\n\n- Perform Windows, Linux, and AWS server patch management.\n\n- Troubleshoot IIS and application hosting environments.\n\n- Manage file services, print servers, and related Windows infrastructure.\n\n- Monitor server infrastructure, critical links, system health, performance, and logs.\n\n- Respond to server incidents and troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues.\n\n- Perform RCA for critical and recurring incidents and ensure timely submission.\n\n- Execute firmware upgrades, configuration backups, preventive maintenance, and DR tests.\n\n- Remediate server vulnerabilities and close security/audit findings.\n\n- Coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for hardware issues, RMA, replacement, and server-down incidents.\n\n- Follow change management, configuration management, SOPs, and escalation procedures.\n\n- Maintain server documentation, architecture diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.\n\n- Support capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.\n\n- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on complex infrastructure issues.\n\n- Maintain defined SLAs and ensure customer satisfaction.\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\n- Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP.\n\n- VMware vSphere, Windows & Linux Server Administration.\n\n- Citrix OR Nutanix (Must Have).\n\n- AWS, Patch Management, Vulnerability Management.\n\n- Incident Management, Monitoring, Backup/DR.\n\nGood to Have:\n\n- Azure, IIS Administration, VCP-DCV certification, ITIL/ITSM, Security audit, Network troubleshooting.\nSkills\nWindows Server, VMware, AWS, Citrix, IT Infrastructure, Server Configuration Tools, IT Operations, DNS, DHCP, Patch Management, Vulnerability Management","description_format":"text","description_chars":3025,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":10,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T00:07:01Z"}],"liveness":{"score":19,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.6,"p_active":0.577,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":32,"expected_fill_days":24,"reasons":["seen:32","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/smartwork-it-services-senior-server-infrastructure-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/smartwork-it-services-senior-server-infrastructure-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T21:21:05Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4020,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":980,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
