You will support a live, feature-complete Studio product in production, with a focus on maintenance, new feature delivery, and incremental backend API improvements. The role is approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend, working mainly with Node.js, NestJS, Angular, Docker, and Docker Compose.\nAll services are containerised using Docker and deployed on Google Cloud Run via Artifact Registry. You will work within an existing team and codebase, following established engineering patterns and deployment processes.\nResponsibilities\nMaintain and enhance a live production platform.\nDeliver new features across the existing product.\nImplement incremental backend API improvements.\nSupport the Studio product in production.\nWork across a backend-heavy full-stack split of approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend.\nBuild and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS.\nContribute to frontend development using Angular.\nWork with containerised services using Docker and Docker Compose.\nCollaborate within an existing team while self-managing day-to-day delivery.\nFollow established codebase patterns and deployment processes.\nIndependently design and document APIs.\nDeliver thoroughly and on time in a maintenance-focused environment.\nRequirements\nOverall 8+ years of experince.\n4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and/or NestJS.\n3+ years of hands-on experience with Angular.\n3+ years of hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose.\n4+ years of hands-on experience with REST API design.\n4-6 years minimum overall professional experience.\n1+ year of working experience with AI tools such as Claude, MCP, or LLM APIs.\nComfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor.\nMid to Senior level engineering experience.\nStrong backend capability with the ability to contribute to frontend development.\nAbility to independently design and document APIs.\nAbility to work within an existing team while managing day-to-day work independently.\nAbility to follow established engineering and deployment patterns.\nThorough approach to maintenance work with timely delivery.\nNice to Have\n2+ years of experience with GCP and Cloud Run.\n2+ years of experience with Swagger or API documentation.\nStrong API discipline as a substitute for Swagger or API documentation experience.\n1+ year of experience with microservices architecture.\nBenefits\nFixed Shifts: 12:00 PM -
