Employee may be based anywhere in the United States, but must be available to work during West Coast/California business hours (PST).\nRecharge: 3 weeks PTO, plus 17 paid holidays.\nThe firm reimburses employees for open-market health insurance; A PEO is being implemented.\nInvestments: 401(k) match up to 3% after a waiting period.\nBase Compensation: $85,000 - 95,000 annually.\nEmbark on a rewarding career with an innovative, forward-thinking law firm.\nWhat Initial Success Looks Like\nStabilize the caseload and improve turnaround times\nManage 60-80 new cases/monthly and on a consistent basis\nLearn all firm systems within 14 days of start date\nWhat You'll Do\nClient Communication: Serve as the central administrative hub and primary point of contact for clients through the estate planning process\nCase Coordination: Coordinate file progress from intake to final draft delivery, including coordinating and triaging all inbound client communication.\nClient Care: Keep clients updated on case progress and notify the appropriate internal team member of any issues.\nDocument Production: Draft and edit estate planning documents as needed; update successor trustee, beneficiary, and distribution information, etc., under an attorney's supervision.\nRequirements\n3+ years of experience in estate planning paralegal work; Case Management experience preferred.\nParalegal Certificate, bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.\nExperience drafting or editing estate planning documents is a plus. Writing expertise is a must.\nAvailability full-time on Pacific Coast time (PST) during the workday, with regular check-ins.\nExceptional computer skills, typing, grammar, spelling, proofreading and email composition skills.\nSuperior software skills.\nQualifications\nAdvanced technology skills with the ability to learn new systems, utilize all software efficiently, and adopt the Firm’s A.I. uses and policies.\nOrganized, detail-oriented and confident handling high-volume administrative work in a fast-paced law firm in expansion mode.\nAbility to work well independently and within a team of attorneys and other case managers in a virtual environment.\nKind, patient and effective with client service.\nBeing coachable and teachable, adopting new procedures easily and rapidly.\nSelf-managed efficiency and discipline to produce exceptional client management services in a remote setting.\nBenefits\n100% Remote work environment\n3 weeks PTO, plus 17 paid holidays.\nHealth insurance reimbursement stipend\n401(k) with employer match percentage\nThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000.
