We listen and understand the specific needs of our clients and deliver a complete value chain of services to provide sustainable solutions across major infrastructure projects worldwide.\nThe Role\nAs an Associate Engineer - Roads & Highways, you will provide technical leadership and project delivery expertise across transport infrastructure projects, while playing an important role in growing our Roads & Highways capability in Hobart.\nWith an established local office and broader multidisciplinary capability already in place, this is an opportunity to help shape the next stage of our transport business in Tasmania. You will combine technical and project leadership with client engagement, business development and the mentoring of engineers as the team continues to grow.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead the delivery of road and highway design projects from concept through to completion.\nProvide technical guidance and oversight across multidisciplinary project teams.\nManage project scope, programme, quality and commercial outcomes.\nDevelop and strengthen relationships with clients and industry partners across Tasmania.\nReview designs, calculations and technical deliverables.\nSupport project pursuits, proposals and business development activities.\nIdentify opportunities to grow our Roads & Highways capability in the local market.\nMentor, coach and develop engineers and graduates.\nContribute to the broader growth of our Transport business in Tasmania.\nAbout You\nYou are a technically strong engineer with proven project delivery experience who is equally comfortable working with clients, developing people and helping build a growing business. You will bring an established understanding of roads and highways projects and the ability to play a visible role in developing our presence in the Tasmanian transport market.\nYou will bring:\nA Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.\n10+ years’ experience delivering roads and highways projects.\nDemonstrated experience managing project delivery and technical outcomes.\nStrong stakeholder and client relationship skills.\nExperience leading and mentoring engineers.\nSound commercial and project management awareness.\nAn interest in business development and growing client relationships.\nExcellent communication and leadership capabilities.\nChartered status, or a commitment to obtaining relevant professional registration.\nDon't meet every requirement?
