The successful candidate will work closely with local management and regional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.\nManage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.\nEnsure compliance with Kazakhstan's accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.\nPrepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and management reports.\nMaintain the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and effective financial controls.\nEnsure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and Delegation of Authority requirements.\nCoordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and banks.\nMonitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and regional financial reporting.\nMaintain audit-ready documentation and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.\nSupervise accounting team members and collaborate with regional and corporate finance teams.\nSuitable applicants will have/be:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.\n8-12 years of accounting and finance experience, including 3-5 years in a Finance Manager, Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant, or similar leadership role.\nStrong knowledge of Kazakhstan's accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory reporting, and IFRS.\nProven experience in financial closing, financial statements, tax compliance, audit coordination, and internal controls.\nExperience with 1C Accounting, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nFluency in Russian and professional working proficiency in English are required.
