We have access to global network of design and engineering expertise, with 16,000 colleagues across 10 multi-disciplinary brands including architects, designers, planners, engineers and other specialists.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join a major highway infrastructure project in Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will lead all environmental, occupational health, and safety aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, donor requirements, and project contractual obligations.\nQualifications\nMasters/bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering/science or equivalent.\n-Essential Experience She/he must have 15 (fifteen) years’ experience in preparation of environmental impact assessment, environmental monitoring and in advisory role and worked as a sole expert in similar capacity on at least 2 (two) highway Road projects of similar nature.\nHave sound knowledge of environmental and social issues, initiatives and implementation of mitigation measures related to infrastructure projects and road development projects.\nHave at least 3 (three) years working experience in developing countries.\nPreferably a full-time employee of the PMC since at least 2 years.\nFluency in written and spoken form of English is mandatory.\nResponsible for overseeing the review of the environmental study, EI, mitigation measures and general EHS ensuring adherence of conditions stipulated in the Environmental law and regulations as well as the DBF Contract and Technical Specifications.
