This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise and project management skills across projects of varying complexity while working within a collaborative and dynamic environment.\nAs an Experienced Engineering Geologist, you will be responsible for planning and conducting engineering geology projects, delivering analysis and design tasks, and supporting project outcomes to meet client and organisational expectations.\nKey accountabilities include, but are not limited to:\nDeliver engineering geology analysis and design tasks in accordance with technical standards and client requirements\nPlan and execute projects of moderate complexity, ensuring quality and timely delivery\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contributors to ensure coordination across project deliverables\nPrepare technical reports, documentation, and proposals for small to medium-sized projects\nManage project scope, risks, and competing priorities effectively\nContribute to the commercial success of projects and the broader team\nApply sound project management principles to achieve deliverables on time and to the required standard\nSupport and mentor junior team members where appropriate\nDevelop and maintain strong client relationships\nAbout You\nTertiary qualification in Engineering, Geology\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in engineering geology, ideally within an Engineering Consultancy\nStrong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and specifications\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines\nExperience preparing technical reports and proposals\nAbility to interpret and communicate complex technical information clearly\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach\nClient-focused mindset with the ability to manage expectations effectively\nUnderstanding of organisational capability and ability to leverage internal expertise\nWhat You’ll Bring\nAbility to work independently on technical tasks across a variety of projects\nA proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach\nStrong organisational and time management skills\nWillingness to learn and apply new knowledge\nCapability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities\nWhy Join Us?\nYou’ll be part of a respected consultancy with a strong presence in Sydney and access to a wide network of technical specialists.
