The role establishes robust planning systems, monitors project performance, manages risks, and provides timely project information to support informed decision-making while ensuring alignment with project objectives, contractual requirements, budget, and schedule.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain the integrated project schedule. \nPrepare work breakdown structures (WBS). \nCoordinate schedule inputs from engineering disciplines. \nEstablish project milestones and critical path. \nUpdate schedules based on project progress. \nMonitor project progress against schedule and KPIs. \nMeasure productivity and performance trends. \nPrepare progress reports and dashboards. \nConduct schedule variance analysis. \nRecommend corrective actions. \nMonitor project budgets and expenditures. \nPrepare cost forecasts and cash flow projections. \nTrack commitments and actual costs. \nSupport earned value management (EVM). \nAssist with financial reporting. \nMaintain project risk register. \nEvaluate schedule and cost impacts of project changes. \nCoordinate change management processes. \nPrepare executive reports. \nSupport project governance reviews. \nCoordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams. \nFacilitate planning meetings. \nMentor planning engineers. \nEnsure compliance with project procedures. \nLiaise with client representatives and consultants. \nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent\n\nMaster's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Business Administration (MBA) \nProfessional Engineer (PRC Licensed Engineer or equivalent) \nPrimavera P6 Certification or demonstrated advanced proficiency \nMinimum 12-15 years of engineering/project management experience.\nAt least 8 years in project planning and controls\nExperience in dam, hydropower, pumped storage, water resources or major infrastructure projects\nExperience using Primavera P6 in large-scale projects\nExperience preparing executive reports and project dashboards\nPrimavera P6\nMicrosoft Project\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel\nProject scheduling techniques\nEarned Value Management (EVM)\nCost control and forecasting\nCritical Path Method (CPM)\nEngineering design coordination\nRisk management\nExcellent report writing\nStrong communication and presentation skills\nKnowledge of dam and hydropower construction methodologies\nUnderstanding of FIDIC contract administration\nAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
