Challenging boundaries, we look beyond the project scope to ensure we leave a positive impact in the communities we live and work in and allow present and future generations to thrive.\nResponsibilities:\nProject Planning & Scheduling\nDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project\nEstablish Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), milestones, and deliverables aligned with the Terms of Reference (TOR)\nMonitor schedule performance and identify critical path impacts\nCoordinate schedule updates with technical engineering team\nProgress Measurement & Reporting\nMeasure physical and financial progress against the baseline plan\nPrepare weekly and monthly reports, including dashboards and KPIs\nProvide insights on schedule delays, cost overruns, and performance trends\nVariation (Change Order) Management\nIdentify, track, and manage project variations and change orders\nEvaluate cost and schedule impacts of variations\nPrepare variation estimates, supporting documentation, and justifications\nCoordinate approvals with stakeholders, clients, and contract administrators\nMonitor implementation of approved variations and update project baselines\nContract & Terms of Reference (TOR) Management\nReview and interpret contracts, TOR, and technical specifications\nEnsure project execution aligns with contractual terms and obligations\nMonitor compliance with scope, deliverables, and performance requirements\nSupport contract administration, including claims and dispute resolution\nIdentify contractual risks and provide mitigation strategies\nRisk Management\nMaintain and update risk registers\nIdentify project risks related to cost, schedule, and contractual issues\nConduct quantitative and qualitative risk analysis\nDevelop and monitor risk mitigation plans\nChange & Claims Support\nAssist in preparation and evaluation of claims related to delays, variations, or contract disputes\nProvide supporting data for extension of time (EOT) claims or cost recovery\nAnalyze project delays and entitlement under contract provisions\nDocumentation & Compliance\nMaintain comprehensive project control records, including schedules, cost reports, and variation logs\nEnsure compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory guidelines\nSupport internal and external audits\nCollaboration & Stakeholder Coordination\nWork closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Contract Teams, and Finance\nParticipate in progress, risk, and performance review meetings\nProvide advisory support on cost, schedule, and contract-related matters\nQualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field\nExperience: 5+ years in project controls within engineering, construction, or EPC projects\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nSolid understanding of contract law and project delivery frameworks\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines\nTechnical proficiency in: Primavera P6 and/or MS Project and Advanced Excel\nStrong knowledge of:\nProject scheduling and planning\nCost control and forecasting\nVariation/change order management\nContract interpretation and Terms of Reference (TOR)\nEarned Value Management (EVM)\nAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
