Challenging boundaries, we look beyond the project scope to ensure we leave a positive impact in the communities we live and work in and allow present and future generations to thrive.\nTo ensure the compliance, quality, and safety of dam and hydropower infrastructure works by conducting inspections, verifying design specifications, monitoring construction practices, and reporting deviations from standards.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct daily inspections of dam works\nCheck conformance to design/specs\nMonitor material usage\nInspect concrete, earth fill, spillways\nIdentify and record defects\nEnsure compliance with HSE policies\nMonitor safety practices on-site\nIdentify hazards\nVerify implementation of mitigation plans\nMaintain inspection records\nSubmit daily and weekly progress reports\nReview contractor's inspection/test results\nTrack testing and calibration\nDocument as-built info\nParticipate in coordination meetings\nRelay site issues to design teams\nVerify work method statements\nTrack schedule impacts\nClarify drawings/specs on site\nMonitor excavation and backfilling\nConfirm geotechnical parameters\nInspect structural formwork/reinforcement\nConfirm grouting and compaction\nWitness testing\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer License (PRC, or equivalent)\nSpecialization in Dams / Hydropower (e.g., short course, certification)\nConstruction Supervision for Dams/Hydropower Projects\nPreferably in hydropower/dam-related sites Dam types, seepage control, geotechnical & structural components\nGIS, Primavera, structural or geotechnical modelling tools\nBlasting and tunnelling exposure near dam sites\nTechnical writing for external audits\nA desire to meet or exceed client expectations\nContributing to the success of the business\nAchievement of practice excellence within time and budgetary constraints\nSupporting and development of team knowledge and skills\nAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
