Challenging boundaries, we look beyond the project scope to ensure we leave a positive impact in the communities we live and work in and allow present and future generations to thrive.\nResponsibilities:\nStrong knowledge of dredging methodologies (cutter suction, clamshell, backhoe dredging) \nExperience in large-scale reservoir rehabilitation projects \nUnderstanding of sediment transport and reservoir siltation \nFamiliarity with hydrographic survey software \nKnowledge of dam safety and intake protection requirements \nExperience under FIDIC-based contracts \nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and dredging plans \nExperience in international donor-funded projects \nProficiency in MS Office and reporting tools \nKnowledge of project scheduling basics (Primavera/MS Project) \nStrong documentation and reporting skills \nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field \nMaster’s Degree in Hydraulic/Water Resources Engineering \nLicensed/Registered Civil Engineer \nTraining in Marine/Dredging Operations \nConstruction Safety Certification \nEnvironmental Management Certification (e.g., ISO 14001 awareness) \nQA/QC or Construction Inspection Training \nHydrographic Survey Training \nMinimum 8-12 years of civil engineering experience \nAt least 5 years in dam, reservoir, or hydropower projects \nProven experience in dredging operations (reservoir desiltation, intake clearing, river training works) \nExperience in quantity verification and contractor billing support \nExperience working with environmental compliance requirements \nExperience in large infrastructure or water-retaining structures \nAt Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
