We unlock the potential of our people to look at infrastructure differently, creating better outcomes for the future.\nWe are committed to positively impact the people, the environment and the clients and communities we serve.\nAbout the role\nWe are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer who will support the Structural Engineer (International) across the design and implementation stages, assisting with the structural design of all functional and residential buildings, platforms, platform sheds, foot over bridges, and related structures for the proposed project components. Assist in preparing detailed drawings, specifications, BOQs, and rate analyses in close coordination with the Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader, and other technical experts, while helping coordinate building-related works across components and consulting the Employer on design matters, to ensure safe, durable, and standards-compliant structures that reflect national codes and local conditions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in the structural analysis and design of buildings, platforms, platform sheds, foot over bridges, and related structures\nCollect and review local data, including soil conditions, material availability, and construction practices. Apply national structural codes and standards in the design \nAssist in preparing detailed structural drawings and technical specifications\nPrepare BOQ items and quantities for all buildings and structures. Carry out rate analyses using current local market rates and national schedules\nAssist the Structural Engineer (International) in organizing the daily work of experts and staff on building-related works\nCoordinate with architectural, civil, electrical, and other staff across components\nAbout You:\nGraduation in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent relevant Subject\n15 years total professional experience, preferably 8 years’ experience in railway field\n5 years' experience in similar type feasibility study and design consultancy, including preferably 5 years’ experience in similar position for similar type consultancy\nWe value equity, diversity and inclusion and are committed to creating a work environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging and is empowered to do their best.
