Overall accountabilities are defined in this section.\nThe IT Endpoint Analyst takes a lead role in implementing and supporting associate productivity technology solutions, with a focus on continuous improvement, application of industry-recognized best practices, and standardization across the organization. This role is vital in the delivery and support of all associate productivity devices used across the business, and to helping bridge the gap between business users and IT technical resources. The focus is on consultation, life cycle planning, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues, problem management, capacity planning, specification testing, and ensuring device and information security. The IT Endpoint Analyst is a leader who works with internal and external partners to meet associate’s productivity requirements and exceed employee experience expectations. By leveraging experience, leadership, self-motivation, and multi-tasking skills, as well as an understanding of cross-functional relationships, the IT Endpoint Analyst will help deliver process and associate productivity technology solutions supporting the business.\nCore Responsibilities\nServes as a key liaison between associates and IT.\n\nTranslates business needs into IT requirements for cost-saving initiatives, and requests for new associate productivity technology, system enhancements and upgrades.\n\nParticipates in the testing and implementation of changes, enhancements, and upgrades to associate productivity solutions.\n\nRecommends innovative uses of existing associate productivity solutions to reduce manual effort, maximize the return on our investment, and drive continuous improvement.\n\nAssists in deploying new associate productivity solutions and operational processes in support of strategic business initiatives.\n\nImplements changes to associate productivity solutions with minimal impact to the business by following enterprise standards and procedures.\n\nEnsures appropriate life cycle management of endpoint software and hardware.\n\nLiaises with Architecture, Infrastructure and Security teams to prepare associates for new associate productivity equipment, systems, and processes.\n\nServes as a point of escalation to the Service Desk.\n\nTravels to sites, when appropriate, to assist with issue resolution, deployments, and training.\n\nPrioritizes associate productivity solution issuesand performs root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions, and to prevent recurring problems.\n\nMaintains and enhances associate productivity solutions as required to support changing business and technical needs.\n\nLeads the support efforts for all associate productivity equipment such as desktop PCs, laptop PCs, tablets, scanners, printers, mobile devices, etc.\n\nSimplifies, standardizes, and automates wherever possible.\n\nDevelops and maintains a working knowledge of new associate productivity technologies, keeps accurate inventories of equipment, systems, and processes, and updates the knowledge base of known problem resolutions.\n\nAbides by all policies, rules and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.\n\nSupports corporate programs, goals, and initiatives.\n\nIn addition to the essential job functions described above, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.\nBachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.\n\nBroadexperience with software, application, and operating system administration, support, and deployments to Windows, Apple, and Android end user devices including (desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, iPads, tablets, mobile devices).\n\nBroadexperience with major OEM third-party software such as Microsoft Office 365 products, Adobe, Java, Apple Business Manager, etc.).\n\nExperience with remote-control tools such as TeamViewer or RDP.\n\nExperience with endpoint-based technologies.\n\nKnowledge and aptitude with configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software on PCs.\n\nKnowledge of Windows security updates, Driver, and system patching.\n\nAbility to effectively manage a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously.\n\nSelf-directed, critical thinker and decision maker, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nMaintains composure under pressure.\n\nA passion to automate.\n\nDrives execution, demonstrates professional competence, works with minimal supervision and is self-motivated and reliable.\n\nWorks harmoniously within the team and with other departments.\n\nEffectively communicates verbally and in writing.\n\nActs with integrity and honesty, displays high ethical conduct, and holds themselves accountable.\n\nExhibits flexibility in response to changing demands, works additional hours as needed and is prepared to travel as required.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Demands\nAlthough work will be mostly performed in an office environment, must be able to visit and comfortably work in a plant, warehouse, distribution center or other manufacturing facility.\n\nTravel occasionally required.\n\nThe expected pay range for this position is $60,000 - $87,500 annually.\n\nSmithfield Foods provides pay ranges that reflect its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage the company reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of hire. Individual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, location of the position, the candidate’s qualifications and experience, internal equity, external market pay for comparable positions and budget considerations.
