EQUIPMENT OPERATORS Skid Steer/ Shuttle Wagons/ ETC.\nThe Bakery Meal Plant Material Handler operates powered industrial vehicles/equipment for transporting, loading, and unloading both raw material and finished product in the bakery meal production process. Expected to carry out job tasks to assure compliance with established procedures relative to quality, productivity and safety.\nCore Responsibilities\nFollows standard operating instructions/procedures in the performance of all duties, including inspection and safe operation of powered industrial vehicles, housekeeping, and inventory management.\nOperates powered industrial vehicles in all areas.\nRegulates blending of materials as instructed to ensure attainment of specified product consistency and moisture.\nAssists with inventory.\nPerforms assigned housekeeping duties by taking the initiative to assist other workers in maintaining and ensuring the orderliness of all areas of the plant.\nSpot trailers for unloading.\nUnloads both bulk and palletized trailers.\nPerforms all work tasks in a manner consistent with the site’s Environmental Management System Policy to include:Following all established environmental policies and procedures;\nReporting all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor;\nUnderstanding the EMS Policy and the Significant Aspects Related to their job; and,\nUnderstanding the proper steps to follow in the event of an environmental emergency.\n\nOperates equipment in a safe manner so as to protect the assets of the company and reduce risks to other workers.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
