Apply Now!\nYour Opportunity\nHourly Competitive Starting Pay - 22.15/hour\n$1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift positions\nComprehensive Health Insurance, Retirement Benefits and More. \nEducation benefit available to full and part-time Smithfield team members upon meeting eligibility requirements.\nThis position works in the distribution area of the plant and is responsible for operating a yard spotter (semi-tractor) truck with hydraulic lifts to move refrigerated trailers and tankers around a warehouse or storage yard.\nCore Responsibilities\nUsing a semi-tractor, move refrigerated trailers and tankers around the plant yard and some to the cold storage warehouse across from the facility.\nPerform routine light maintenance on equipment (cleanliness, pre-inspection, etc.).\nSet and monitor unit temperatures according to individual customer requests.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
