At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.\nThe TA associate Sourcing Specialist works to proactively identify passive candidates through sourcing techniques. Primary responsibility includes sourcing for challenging roles as well as developing proactive recruitment activities to build robust candidate pipelines for high demand roles. The goal is to identify the best talent and to develop and maintain a pool of candidates available for open positions, with a high focus on blue collar openings, but not limited to this. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with TA processes including document retention and providing data analytics when required.\nThis position is P1 level (for internal use only)\nWhat will you be doing?\nResponsibilities: \nSourcing:\nSources potential candidates through a variety of channels including direct sourcing,\nLinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, social media, etc.\nDeliver qualified candidate slates by using well-proven, passive candidate recruiting methodologies.\nCoordinate intake calls with hiring managers and/or Recruiters to calibrate and identify sourcing needs.\nResearch and propose attraction strategies, including identification of new sourcing channels.\nShare market insight data to support the TA team.\nConduct initial phone screens to assess interest level, career goals, qualifications, work history, salary requirements, and culture fit, and to provide information about the organization and position.\nOutreach:\nSource potential candidates through diverse channels and searching techniques, such as\nBoolean Searches, job boards, social media, etc.\nSupports sourcing activity by collaborating in recruiting events such as career fairs,\ncollege/university recruitment events, etc.\nPromote our Smith & Nephew Culture pillars and our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to\nengage leads (prospects) and convert them into applicants\nDiversity:\nDrives continued focus on Diversity & Inclusion by attracting and making outreach efforts to\ndiverse workforce by identifying talented people of varied backgrounds, experiences, and styles.\nCollaboration:\nWorks closely with TA Specialists to ensure a clear understanding of skill sets, requirements\nand experience needed for identified roles and forecasted demand required for pipelining\nefforts. Collaborates with TA team members to gain greater understanding about the\norganizations we support.\nCompliance:\nAdheres with TA processes to ensure compliance requirements.\nEnsure the required candidate and process information is properly documented and\nmaintained. And assists with audit process as required.\nEnsure sensitive company and process information is properly managed per company\npolicies.\nSystems & Processes:\nProvides applicant tracking and reporting as needed; conduct data analytics when required.\nEnter data into Applicant Tracking System(s) to ensure accurate and consistent tracking of\ncandidates from the research to telephone screen stage of the recruitment process.\nTravel Requirements: \nImportant Note: The selected candidate for this position will have an effective hire date in January 2027.\nWhat will you need to be successful?\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.\nExperience:\n2+ years of experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Sourcer or relevant talent acquisition experience.\nAgency experience is highly preferable.\nLanguages:\nFluent in English (B2 minimum)\nFluent in Portuguese is strongly preferred)\nKnowledge:\nFamiliarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks, highly preferable\nKnowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and/ or MRT (Marketing research tool).\nCompetences:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent relationship management \nStrong customer focus \nInnovative thinking \nSense of urgency\nFlexibility and adaptability to work with various levels employees and leaders\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nPhysical Demands: N/A\nYou.
