We would love to acclimate the best candidates to the S+N culture of care, collaboration, and courage .\nThe Logistics Associate is responsible for shipping/outbound distribution, receiving, storing, handling and or issuing all materials including but not limited to cGMP raw materials, NON-cGMP raw materials, Common Supply, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies, Work-in-Process (WIP), and Finished Goods Inventory (FGI).\nWhat will you be doing?\nEnsure proper storage and distribution of received materials under the guidance and direction of departmental SOP's/specifications.\n\nStage incoming raw materials for further processing.\n\nReceive GxP raw material into inventory/ERP system.\n\nRelocate staged and quarantined materials to appropriate areas, as directed\n\nPerform and assist in performing physical inventories as required.\n\nMaintain inventory accuracy by performing adjustments to documents and ERP.\n\nPerform housekeeping as required.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nWhat will you need to be successful?\nEducation: High School diploma or equivalent.\n\nExperience/expectations: Below\n\nWorking knowledge of MS Word and Outlook\n\nWorking knowledge of FEDEX, UPS and other online systems used in shipping processes.\n\nAbility to work overtime as needed.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills to initiate and retrieve tracking information from carrier.\n\nHigh energy.\n\nManual dexterity\n\nTravel Requirements: none\n\nMust be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs\n\nYou Unlimited.\nWe believe in creating the greatest good for society. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
