With a continuous improvement mindset, this role manages inventory and asset management processes to support efficient operations, maximize asset utilization, and minimize unnecessary inventory and instrument investment.\nThis role promotes a culture of Care, Collaboration, and Courage while building strong partnerships between Sales Management and Logistics.\nSuccess in this role requires the ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment and partner with multiple stakeholders. The role also requires a working knowledge of company products, operating systems, and medical procedures. Performance is measured against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).\nWhat will you be doing?\nAsset & Inventory Management\nEnsure consignment locations have valid consignment agreements and/or custody cards, as required, and perform field cycle counts as needed.\nManage physical inventory activities, including preparation, counts, reconciliation, and required adjustments, to support established company variance goals.\nAnalyze instrument and implant utilization in partnership with Sales Management and the sales force to identify opportunities to improve asset utilization.\nEvaluate inventory asset levels and execute appropriate strategies to maximize utilization, support sales performance, and achieve company asset utilization goals.\nKPI & Performance Management\nImplement tiered accountability for Tier 1 and Tier 2, and Tier 3 based on the market, sharing outcomes with senior management as appropriate.\nMonitor performance against applicable KPIs, address performance gaps, implement corrective actions, and escalate for support when required.\nParticipate in the development of best practices, SOPs, process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting for company-wide application.\nAnalyze operational activities impacting the P&L of assigned areas, including stock withdrawal budgets, freight, and courier usage, based on market requirements.\nPeople Management\nLead the day-to-day management of the assigned team, including attracting, engaging, training, developing, empowering, and retaining employees to support business goals and a high-performance culture.\nOwn employee engagement and related action plans for assigned teams.\nAssign and manage logistics and inventory workflows to ensure compliance with established processes and SOPs.\nMonitor performance against KPIs and adherence to standard work, including required daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities, while maintaining audit readiness.\nEnsure ongoing training for logistics personnel and/or sales representatives on required compliance topics, day-to-day operations, SOPs, processes, and systems.\nProvide operational training and support to other areas and Company locations as required.\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure adherence to applicable quality, regulatory, health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, protocols, and requirements.\nMaintain appropriate housekeeping standards within warehouse areas, including a clean and orderly work environment.\nManage product recall activities in a timely manner and coordinate with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure required compliance procedures are followed.\nSystems\nLearn and effectively navigate systems such as MoveMedical and ERP platforms including SAP, AX, WebOps, or TOTVS.\nWhat will you need to be successful?\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.\nArmed Services experience, particularly within logistics or supply chain, highly preferred.\nExperience\n5-8 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, operations, or a related field.\n2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience preferred, including responsibility for team performance, development, and day-to-day operations.\nDemonstrated experience managing day-to-day operational activities and driving performance against operational KPIs.\nExperience within a regulated environment, medical device industry, or field-based logistics operation preferred.\nCertifications\nASCM, Six Sigma, Lean, or Project Management certification desired.\nSkills & Capabilities\nAbility to foster an environment where employees feel comfortable sharing ideas and voicing their opinions.\nCourage and ability to have crucial conversations with employees and stakeholders.\nAbility to coach employees to solve problems and improve business performance.\nAbility to act as a change agent through influence and by leading by example.\nAbility to establish standards for effective warehouse and logistics operations and hold teams accountable to those standards.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey and interpret information across a variety of audiences and situations.\nPhysical Demands\nMust be able to lift up to 75 pounds.\nStanding, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling may occur for extended periods.\nTravel\nDomestic travel of less than 50%.\nYou.
