Including but not limited to:\nProduct cleaning product, documentation of work done and all package activities both inside and outside of a clean room environment at the Mansfield site.\nMust be able to comply with all governing rules including Smith & Nephew policies and procedures and adhere to safety and cleanliness practices in the work place.\nWhat will you be doing?\nAssembles and packages medical products using one piece flow methodology in a Lean environment using but not limited to the following methods:\nVerifying components for count, quantity and revision\nRead and understand drawings and process summaries\nGenerate and affix labels to properly identify materials\nClean components using Alcohol cleaning procedures in preparation for assembly\nAssemble products manually or using fixtures\nSeal products using various heat sealing machines such as pouches, trays and poly bags\nBox and package product for shipment to sterilizer\nMeasurement of product per drawing/inspection instructions\nSupport automated machines\nComplete training in prescribed timeframe\nWork in a team environment using the following skills:\nCommunication both verbal and written\nListening and reaching consensus with others\nParticipating in continuous process Improvement activities such as 5s and Kaizen events\nComplete and understand documentation need to comply with company policies, Quality Manual and procedures including but not limited to:\nFDA, QSR and various domestic and international standards and regulations\nCompany policies and procedures. Perform other job related duties including the training of new, transferring, and lesser skilled employee’s as assigned \nWhat will you need to be successful?\nEducation: High School diploma or equivalent.\nExperience: At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, warehouse, or retail setting.\nLanguages: Must be able to read/write in English.\nPhysical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.\nYou. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
