With a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service, STS Aerospace delivers reliable solutions that support the safety and performance of mission-critical aerospace systems.\n Operates CNC machines (lathes and milling) and conventional machines to fabricate parts by performing the duties listed below\nUnderstand blueprints, job plans and operation instructions to assure parts are manufactured to specs.\nCarefully handle parts to avoid damage.\nFollows instructions on loading / unloading parts and in process inspection.\nMeasure workpiece using micrometer, vernier, or other instrument / gage to determine piece is being made to specs.\nStarts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.\nVerifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.\nFollows the mantra that “everyone is an inspector”\nKeeps work area and machines clean and organized.\nMust operate equipment in a manner that is safe to themselves and their fellow employees\nImmediately informs Set-up person or Programmer of any issues with parts, set up or the machine.\nOperates one or more machines at any one time.\nPerforms all types of deburring.\nPersonal basic tools is a plus.\nTakes a proactive approach to continuous improvement including productivity, quality and safety.\n High school or technical school a plus, but not a requirement\nMinimum of 1 year CNC operating experience required.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions is required.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
