Hours: Fri - Sun, works 12-hours daily)\nWeekend Night Shift (P.M. Hours: Fri - Sun, works 12-hours nightly)\nDay shift prefers someone with experience on Mazak lathe (exp. on Haas and DMG lathe is a plus).\nEvening shift prefers someone with experience on Mazak mill (exp. on Integrex and Haas mill is a plus).\nThis position is a hybrid Operator/Programmer role with primary responsibility for machining operations, while also supporting programming activities on the shop floor. The role requires balancing hands-on production work with programming responsibilities driven by business needs.\nKey specific responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving production program issues, developing offline CNC programs for critical paths or bottlenecks based on shop floor priorities, and supporting new product introductions and project-related programming activities. The position also focuses on improving programming efficiency to optimize cycle times, increase throughput, and maximize machine utilization.\nAs a standard requirement, the employee is expected to perform and accurately document manufacturing activities in alignment with company objectives and quality standards. The role demands the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks while adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic production environment.\nResponsibilities also include setting up and operating lathes, mills, and CNC machines in a safe and efficient manner.\nUtilizes knowledge of shop mathematics, charts and tables. \nTrains and assists other CNC set up operators.\nWorks from factory work orders, prints and written or verbal instructions.\nNotifies supervisor of shop and tooling requirements.\nOperates CNC machines as assigned and may be required to operate more than one machine simultaneously.\n High School Diploma or equivalent education.\nProficient in metal working.\nMust have proven ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally.\nAssociates or technical degree preferred.\n3+ years’ work experience in manufacturing industry is preferred.\nKnowledge of EdgeCam or Fusion 360 preferred. \nAbility to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.\nMust be able to sit for extended periods of time; a minimum of 2 hours.\nMust be able to maneuver to all areas of the office, shop, warehouse, or manufacturing plant.\nMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry up to 40 pounds.\nMust be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at assigned desk area.\nMust have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment.\nMust be able to simultaneously manage several objectives, changing priorities and reassigning priorities to complete assignments.\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English.\nMust be able to respond to visual and aural cues.\nAdditional duties and responsibilities will vary based upon departmental needs.\nComplete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistently by supporting the company’s goals.\nLifting guidelines in accordance with the Manual Lifting Guidelines noted in the Safety Handbook.\nFollow all environmental requirements consistently with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals.\nComplete, and actively participate in all other EHS training requirements.\n With colleagues stretching across the globe, we are proud of our diversity.
