A career at STS Aerospace allows you to take ownership of challenges, think creatively and be a part of our exciting growth journey.\nSTS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for an ECM Operator - 2nd Shift to join the team.\n2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday; 3:15PM - 1:45AM with $1.00 Pay Differential\nMust be able to train of 1st Shift\n Essential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerforms visual and dimensional checks on materials\nHolds tape and rods and marks reference points\nReads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and determines sequence of operations.\nSelects, positions, and secures tubing in saw\nMoves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.\nSets up fixture or feeding device, starts machine, and feeds tool to workpiece or vice versa, and engages feed.\nObserves operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.\nThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.\nConsistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time\nOther duties may be assigned as needed\n Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
