Listed on the London Stock Exchange, Smiths employs approximately 16,000 colleagues in over 50 countries.\n Receipt of inquiries for nonstandard parts and products from customer service department.\nPrepare detailed cost breakdown as per the scope including detailed material take off, activity wise resource requirements, subcontracts, indirect costs, etc.\nPrepare independently detailed cost estimates from initial stages and process them till finalization.\nEstablishing good relationship with the customer, handling complaints and giving timely feedback and progress reporting to the customers\nCalculating the machining time and process cost.\nSelection, pricing and preparation of proposals where necessary working with the Engineering departments.\nCreating processes and procedures\nAnalyze the order intake from the different customers (regions) and compare them with yearly plan. Discuss any short fall in orders with customers and prepare the order forecast\nReporting requirements of the company / department\nTake ownership and work proactively with the corresponding team to clear the Back Orders.\nEnsure OTD as set target in KPI.\nEnsure effective implementation of pull system in the for the material to provide better serviceability to customer.\nReview and managing processes and procedures for IMS audits\nCommits to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders.\nInteracts regularly with stakeholders to gain feedback and to ascertain ways to improve services\nKnowledge about Credit, debit note & FOC order process flow.\nKey Accountabilities:\nReviewing of customer PO’s and ensuring clean order entry in the business system involving contract review procedure.\nLiaise with Engineering, Manufacturing, Dispatch and Finance departments to ensure safe and timely delivery of products at customer sites; and statutory requirements are complied to\nMaterial requirement and machining time analysis.\nReplenishment order preparation.\nWork orders and process sheet monitoring.\nPreparing the Operation reports for OTD on weekly & Monthly Basis\nReporting requirements of the company / department\nBE Or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Production\nMinimum 2 to 4 years of experience with significant proven supervisory experience.\nMetallurgy Knowledge\nUnderstanding of SAP (PP & MRP), MS-Office\nMust possess excellent inter-personal skills\nTeam player\nAbility to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.\nExcellent written, verbal and presentation skills\nExcellent organizational and follow-up skills\nCompetent in problem solving, planning and decision making\nWith colleagues stretching across the globe, we are proud of our diversity.
