This includes planning and executing projects that meet cost targets, qualification, and schedule requirements. Customers may be internal or external to the organization.\nEstablish Pre & Post order engineering function for Indufil and Seebach products, ensure capable processes and develop the necessary engineering talent, skills and processes to support growth plans in the business at ISC Pune\nEstablish standard engineering processes with clear alignment and accountability to customers’ commercial expectations.\nAssure compliance with customer standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies, procedures and standards.\nLead the filtration engineering organization, subordinate team leaders including design engineering & application engineering.\nAchieves business’s annual operating budget by engineering targets while maintaining costs.\nResponsible for maintaining department dashboards, weekly and monthly reports.\nEnsure efficient support to Sales Organization and Business Development sales force, in delivering necessary technical specifications, feasibility studies and costing for inquiries. \nMaintain & monitor On Time Delivery (OTD), Lead Time (LT) & Quality of work for all Proposals and Pos-order engineering activities.\nEnsure on time delivery of technical proposals, manufacturing drawings / BOMs for filter solutions, elements, and tools as well as the necessary product documentation.\nEngineering responsibility to resolve production non-conformance, quality issues, and RCAs.\nControl and coordinate efficient development of new products based on market / customer needs.\nSupport development of product sizing and selection tools, as well as development and / or enhancement of standard working procedures.\nDrive continuous improvement, standardization, VAVE, and other strategic initiatives.\nWork closely and collaboratively with other engineering teams in Duiven (CoE), Vellmar and Hnevotin engineering teams.\nApproves and enforces Engineering and John Crane policies and procedures throughout the facility.\nSetting strategic team objectives, coordinating their distribution into the corresponding teams, providing regular feedback to direct reports.\nRecruit and Develop team skills and competences tailored to organization support requirements, identify talents and create together with management and HR specific talent development programs.\nCompletes other assignments as directed.\n A Bachler or master’s degree in an engineering discipline with 15+ years’ of experience in technology development, engineering or similar functions.\nAt least 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 3+ years of management experience.\nRequires knowledge of filtration in Polymer, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Aerospace, O&G Refinery and Turbomachinery.\nStrong working knowledge of how filtration business & markets work, and how to create growth through engg processes & products.\nGood understanding of engineering process needs in design and operations, key business drivers and industry practices.\nExcellent communication skills to articulate strategies and drive a coordinated action plan.\nStrong leadership presence with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.\nAbility to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and multitasking are essential.\nAffinity with filtration and/or separation as essential technology in process industry.\nAn ability to work in an international environment with functional teams spread over various regions including corresponding willingness to travel.\nSelf-starter and highly motivated to achieve results with limited direct supervision.\nExcellent people skills and proven ability to lead a team.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English, a proficiency in MS Office, SAP.\nWith colleagues stretching across the globe, we are proud of our diversity.
