We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to join our growing service team and provide technical support, maintenance, and repairs for our industry-leading X-ray and trace detection equipment across Australia.We are specifically seeking Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents for this opportunity. Due to customer security requirements and the need to obtain relevant security clearances, applicants must hold either Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency at the time of application.\nThis role is ideal for a technically minded professional who enjoys problem-solving, working autonomously, and travelling to customer sites while delivering exceptional service.What You'll Be Doing\nService, troubleshoot, maintain and repair X-ray and trace detection systems at customer sites\nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance activities in line with service agreements\nDiagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using testing equipment and software tools\nReplace and repair components including motors, belts, rollers, sensors and other mechanical assemblies\nInstall and commission new equipment at customer sites\nProvide both onsite and remote technical support to customers\nComplete service reports, maintenance records and other field documentation\nParticipate in an on-call roster to support customers outside standard business hours\nTravel extensively across metropolitan, regional and remote locations, including overnight stays when required\nWork closely with customers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and assist with mentoring junior team members\n What We're Looking For\nCertificate III Trade Qualification or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, IT, or a related discipline\nAustralian Citizen or Permanent Resident\nMinimum 3 years' experience in field service, maintenance, technical support, or a similar hands-on engineering environment\nStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems\nComfortable working with hand tools, power tools, laptops and diagnostic equipment\nStrong customer service and communication skills\nAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nCurrent Australian driver's licence\nAbility to obtain required security clearances and industry licences\n Join us and we’ll help build your career, with excellent training and opportunities for career growth across the business, both locally and globally.
