looking for a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join our ANZ Finance team and play a key role in driving business performance through insightful analysis, forecasting and strategic financial support.\nThis role will partner closely with Finance, Sales, Programs and Regional Leadership teams, providing financial insights that support informed decision-making and profitable growth across Australia and New Zealand.\nWhat You'll Do\nFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)\nPrepare financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and operational performance.\nAnalyze revenue, margins, costs and profitability trends, identifying key drivers and variances.\nInvestigate monthly revenue fluctuations and expenditure movements, providing meaningful commentary and recommendations.\nDeliver product, service and customer profitability analysis to ANZ leadership.\nReview monthly order intake, backlog and reporting accuracy.\nSupport month-end reporting activities and management presentations.\nBudgeting & Forecasting\nPartner with budget owners to understand business performance and key drivers.\nSupport annual budgeting, strategic planning and monthly forecasting cycles.\nCoordinate forecasting inputs from multiple stakeholders across the ANZ region.\nPrepare variance analysis between Actuals, Budget, Forecast and Prior Year results.\nIdentify cost overruns and performance gaps, recommending corrective actions.\nAct as a trusted finance partner to regional management on financial planning matters.\nCommercial Business Partnering\nSupport sales bids and commercial proposals through financial modelling and analysis.\nPartner with Sales leadership to develop financial forecasts and market outlooks.\nAnalyze margins, cash flow implications and commercial risks associated with opportunities.\nChallenge assumptions, benchmark costs and provide recommendations to improve profitability.\nSupport financial decision-making across the business through data-driven insights.\nProgram Financial Support\nPartner with Program Managers and Finance teams to provide financial visibility across active programs.\nMonitor program profitability, margins, costs and cash flow performance.\nSupport accurate and timely financial reporting for program portfolios.\nReview balance sheet items, including inventory, work-in-progress and program-related accounts.\nMonitor foreign exchange impacts and profitability variances against approved business cases.\nProvide regular reporting and commentary to key stakeholders.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to automate, streamline and enhance financial reporting processes.\nImprove data quality, reporting accuracy and analytical capabilities across the finance function.\nDrive efficiencies through digital tools and process improvements.\nSupport internal and external audit activities as required.\nParticipate in ad hoc financial projects and business initiatives.\n What You'll Bring\nEssential Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.\nFull professional membership with CPA or CA.\nMinimum 3 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modelling or Commercial Finance.\nStrong experience supporting budgets, forecasts, business cases and project financial analysis.\nMinimum 3 years' experience working with SAP and related reporting tools.\nExperience working within IFRS and AASB reporting environments.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles, chart of accounts and financial controls.\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets.\nStrong proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.\nExperience with SAP, SmartView, Onyx, CPM or similar financial planning/reporting systems.\nAbility to build robust financial models and perform detailed variance analysis.\nStrong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.\nHigh attention to detail and data accuracy.\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nConfident
