Act as trusted advisor to the regional and local management on all finance related matters\nCommercial business partner support:\nSupport market bids, financials preparation, benchmark and challenge costs/margins\nWork with Sales head to prepare financial forecasts & budgets for India market\nSupport sales bid process by providing financial analysis with attention to cash-flow analysis and local tax requirements\nSupport commercial decision making and manage performance against budget/forecasts through analysis and being the go-to person for financial matters relating to the market.\nProgram support:\nPartner with Program Managers and functional leaders to provide timely financial insight and challenge\nProvide programs’ profitability analysis on entity margin (external selling price less transfer price) and transparent gross margin (external selling price less manufacturing and local costs)\nEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting for program\nReview Programs-related Balance sheet to ensure accuracy, existence and completeness.\nEnsure consistent use and appropriate application of the global chart of accounts and accounting principles and policies Budgetary\nLead budget variance commentary and reporting\nTrack and advise on profitability variances from approved DORBs\nProvide accurate cash-flow forecasting and monitor actual cash-flow relating to programs\nMonitor FX impact on Programs, assessing hedging effectiveness as required\nOthers:\nContinuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement in financial analysis, forecasting and commercial support. Identify opportunities to streamline, automate or digitise reporting, and reduce manual work. To increase the analytical capability of the Finance teams to ensure accuracy of the P&L and Balance sheet, specifically on program-related GIT and WIP balances.\nCommunication: Maintain open and clear lines of communications. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders within India, as well as key stakeholders in the Division.\nQualifications and Experience\nChartered accountant, MBA Finance or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.\nTypically 4-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering or management reporting, preferably in a multinational environment.\nExperience working in a multi-currency and matrix organisation is advantageous.\nExperience supporting project, service, technology, industrial or manufacturing businesses is advantageous.\nFluent written and spoken English.\nTechnical Knowledge and Skills:\nAdvanced or Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PPT and Word\nAdvanced knowledge of software features such as SAP, Smartview/Onyx/CPM\nUnderstand basic accounting procedures like journal entry creation (including preparation of supporting documents) and review and running basic reports\nUnderstanding different components of Chart of Accounts (CoA)\nUnderstand basic accounting principles and concepts and ability to apply them\nUnderstand basic concepts of budgeting and planning\nAble to manipulate data in Excel; able to identify arithmetical mistakes\nMaintain, reconcile, review, combine and validate moderately complex financial data sets\nIdentify, clarify, investigate discrepancies and exceptions\nResolve transactional inquiries, escalate broader issues\nRun and analyse standard financial reports, often from multiple systems/sources\nDesign and perform analyses, incorporating checks and balances to ensure data integrity\nActively communicate and engage with colleagues to further clarify ambiguity\nSelf-starter and able to work independently and yet cohesively with colleagues located in remote locations\n Join us and we’ll help build your career, with excellent training and opportunities for career growth across the business, both locally and globally.
