Coordinates delivery between suppliers, purchasing department, and manufacturing to ensure low cost JIT inventory control for STS as well as effective and efficient production process manufacturing that meets customer schedules.\nResponsibilities:\nDraws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.\nAnalyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.\nPlans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.\nPlans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.\nConfers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.\nExpedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.\nPrepares production reports.\nPrepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.\nPrepares purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.\nConsistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.\n To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.\nReasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
