This position is responsible for the fabrication, shaping, bending, and assembly of metal products for aircraft applications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.\n Essential Duties and Responsibilities\nWork with engineering to develop layouts and sequence of operations.\nWork with engineering to design and construct templates and fixtures.\nLocates and marks bending and cutting lines onto workpiece.\nSets up and operates fabricating machines such as benders, grinders, saws, cutters, presses, and collet swager.\nCuts, deburrs, and sizes bent tubes to verify conformity using fixtures or mylars as needed.\nPositions, aligns, and fits parts together.\nVerifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.\nThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. \nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.\nConsistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time.\nAbility to perform basic mathematic equations to calculate ovality and arc lengths.\nOther duties may be assigned as needed\n Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations\nOne year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
