Committed to quality, Titeflex Quality Systems are 3rd party certified and has received numerous other certifications and accreditations.\n Implement new equipment, manufacturing technologies, and production processes to support business growth and operational objectives.\nDevelop, justify, and execute assigned capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including equipment selection, RFQ development, vendor evaluations, concept and design reviews, validation activities, and final equipment commissioning.\nDevelop manufacturing technologies and improve production processes for tubing, hose and end fitting products through technical analysis, process evaluation, root cause investigation, cost reduction initiatives, and performance optimization.\nEstablish equipment capability specifications, define process windows, develop tooling requirements, and implement improved manufacturing methods.\nLead assigned safety, ergonomic, and risk-reduction initiatives to improve workplace safety and employee well-being.\nManage projects focused on cost reduction, equipment utilization, downtime reduction, quality improvement, productivity enhancement, and process optimization.\nAudit manufacturing and quality control procedures and provide recommendations for improvement.\nTrain manufacturing supervisors and operators on new equipment, manufacturing processes, and operating procedures.\nMaintain relationships with equipment suppliers and technology providers to stay informed of emerging manufacturing technologies and industry best practices.\nProvide technical leadership in diagnosing manufacturing issues related to machinery, materials, process capability, and production performance; implement corrective and preventive actions as required.\nDrive scrap reduction initiatives through equipment improvements, process optimization, material utilization strategies, and recovery programs.\nSupport continuous improvement programs related to:Product quality improvements\nEfficiency and productivity gains\nManufacturing process improvements\nCost reduction initiatives\nMaterial utilization and scrap reduction\n\nDevelop, maintain, and update training documentation, work instructions, operator manuals, visual controls, and process standards.\nCreate and maintain machine-specific product processing documentation and manufacturing standards.\nSupport operational excellence initiatives and contribute to achieving facility performance objectives.\n Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline.\nEquivalent experience in a wire and cable/hose or tube extrusion manufacturing environment may be considered in lieu of a four-year degree.\nMinimum of five years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical function within a wire and cable manufacturing environment; or a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in another manufacturing industry.\nExperience implementing and supporting safety and ergonomic improvement programs.\nDemonstrated project management experience required; project management certification preferred.\nExperience selecting, justifying, validating, implementing, and commissioning new manufacturing equipment and processes.\nAbility and willingness to travel to other smiths facilities for training and project support.\nLean Manufacturing training or certification preferred.\nSix Sigma training or certification preferred.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.\nDemonstrated ability to combine technical expertise with leadership and project management responsibilities.\nStrong organizational skills and a disciplined approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
