We partner with our customers to help them keep their operations safe, reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and meet the latest environmental standards.\n The Reliability Engineer is part of the Service Delivery Office (SDO) and responsible for providing technical support to the organisation in the life cycle (Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, and Closing) of John Crane’s reliability projects across the region.\nThe Engineer will consult with the customer to identify needs to improve reliability performance and work alongside the business development team to develop aligned value propositions. The Engineer will manage the execution of each project, working alongside the Contract Manager, on-site teams and local sales teams.\nResponsibilities include but no limited to the following:\nConducts Reliability Contracts feasibility studies and Implementation\nDevelop, or facilitate, the implementation of the asset reliability vision, strategy, and roadmap for wet sealed equipment\nDevelop procedures that help achieve the desired reliability standards\nProvide expert technical guidance to CREs in the application of reliability methodologies, including Reliability Analysis: Performing root cause analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA/FMECA), fault tree analysis (FTA).\nDevelopment of asset register and install base (all mechanical sealed equipment and other JC products)\nCo-ordinate with key internal stakeholders to setup up the infrastructure for a seal reliability program\nProvide data management support i.e. ServiceMax records, utilizing customer CMMS and records data.\nEngaging and Influencing key stakeholders from client leadership teams to technicians\nDevelop proposals to address client reliability challenges, including method of work statements.\n Mechanical or Industrial Engineer required.\nMinimum 4 years’ experience.\nRecognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience primarily working with rotating equipment and CMRP is preferred.\nDemonstrated experience in the following: Application of Reliability methodologies including prioritization, RCM, FMEA/FMECA, RCA, reliability statistical analysis; Maintenance Management practices and systems, in asset intensive and high hazard industry sectors; and Maintenance Management Systems languages: English (other languages beneficial)\nPreferred knowledge in the following: Inventory Optimisation, Condition Based Maintenance; and ISO 14224 and ISO 55000 series\nEffective communication skills both verbal and written\nExperience working in a diverse environment with a global company is a plus.\n Compensation commensurate with experience\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
