Our technology benefits millions of people every day - making travel safer, supporting sustainable energy transition, efficiently heating, cooling our homes, and helping our world stay connected.\nConnect with us on LinkedIn: John Crane: LinkedIn\n Purpose of role\nService Technician - working in the Service Center\nKey Activities\nDisassembly, inspection, and assembly of seals.\nAssembly and repair of mechanical seals and related cartridges in accordance with John Crane drawings and specifications, including the use of locally produced metallic components and the repair of metallic and non-metallic components as needed.\nBasic manual processing of components when necessary.\nLapping, polishing, and cleaning as needed, following predefined standard procedures.\nMaintenance management of equipment and service machinery.\nHandling incoming and outgoing inventory movements.\nSAP transaction management for independent processing of sales/service orders, from receipt to invoicing.\nOperational activities following John Crane standards, procedures, and policies.\nEnsuring compliance with Health and Safety standards according to company policies.\nKey Accountabilities\nDeliver seal repair according to John Crane Standard\nFollow company procedures and rules\nSupport for the Service Center Manager in the overall management of Service Center activities.\nResponsible\n\nThe Service Technician, subject to limited supervision, is responsible for all procedures related to the disassembly and assembly of mechanical seals. He/she will be integrated into the existing structure of Service Center, supporting the Service Operations Manager.\n Skills and Experience\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nExperience with maintenance of mechanical seals/centrifugal pumps or comparable experience within refining, petrochemical, chemical, power or upstream markets.\nFamiliarity with working on site in the Oil&Gas/Petrochemical environment\nCustomer-service oriented\nGood working knowledge of computer applications and the Microsoft Office suite is required.
