In this critical role, you will oversee weekend shift operations, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production workers.\nWork Environment\nThe work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter while performing the essential job functions in a manufacturing environment which may include loud noise levels, vibration, hot/cold temperatures, and moving objects or vehicles.\nEssential Job Functions\nSupervise and coordinate all production activities during the weekend shift, ensuring production goals are met\nResponsible for daily shift meetings, workstation assignments/rotations, shift paperwork, timecard and production sheet approvals\nManage production schedules, employee performance, payroll, attendance, timecards, training and disciplinary actions\nCollaborate with other shift supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and consistent operations\nConsistently evaluate productivity and current staff to optimize production efficiencies to meet schedules\nResponsible for quality control, working with team members to adjust as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications\nManage and motivate team members to achieve production goals\nSupport safety policies and procedures within the plant; including safety accident investigation and reporting\nSchedule, communicate, and conduct shift meetings as needed\nEnsure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment\nOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)\nProvide continuous feedback in an environment that fosters open communication\nFollow all Company policies and procedures\nOther duties as assigned\nSkills and Abilities:\nProficiency in computer systems, including ERP software and Microsoft Office suite\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong knowledge of production processes and quality control methods\nMust exhibit time management skills\nRegular attendance is essential\nProfessional, detail oriented, and dependable\nEmployee and customer driven\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business or related field preferred\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role\nShift: Friday - Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm\nTraining on 1st shift required (Mon - Thurs 6:00am - 4:30pm)\nReady to lead our weekend shift team?
