You boast a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for games. The QA test team is embedded within our development team so you naturally work well with others, are a stellar communicator, and understand the functions of the different disciplines on a game team.\nRequirements\nIn this role, you will:\nBe responsible for testing game content for bugs and other flaws;\nVerify proper implementation of features against design specifications;\nWork with the QA Test Lead to maintain a reporting system that tracks and verifies fixes throughout the test cycle;\nDesign, write, and execute test cases during all phases of product development;\nProvide written and verbal reports on the state of bugs, features, performance, and playability;\nEscalate risks and blocking issues as soon as they are uncovered;\nHelp to run build verification checklists against a range of devices and mobile platforms;\nBe the voice of the consumer.\nTo be successful in this role, you must have:\nA passion for gaming;\nMinimum one year of game testing or QA experience;\nExperience writing test plans and test scripts;\nExperience in one or more defect tracking and/or test management tool;\nStrong written and verbal communication skills;\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).\nIt would also be helpful if you had:\nPrevious experience in the gaming industry;\nMobile testing experience;\nExperience with Jira.\nBenefits\n10 days vacation leave\n5 paid days personal leave\n7 paid sick days\nLife Insurance & Accidental Death & Dismemberment\nDependent Life Insurance\nLong Term Disability (LTD)\nExtended Healthcare Benefit\nDental Care\nHybrid working\nTraining & Development\nSalary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 CAD\nNB: This is a position based on-site in our Downtown Vancouver office.
