As the Accountant, you will be responsible for working in close collaboration with our Director of Finance to assist the company in regular monthly accounting activities. This is a part-time position with a structured schedule of pre-defined working hours. You'll be working within a SaaS environment with recurring revenue, using established accounting systems and processes, with support from our Director of Finance.\nWhat will you be doing?\nSupport in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.\nPreparation of weekly operational cash flow forecasts.\nExecute accounting activities around all aspects of the business, including but not limited to; company payables, accounts receivables, revenue recognition, GL maintenance, bank/ Float payments/ reconciliations, etc.\nPrepare, calculate and submit quarterly PST & GST/HST returns.\nCoordinate with external accountants and auditors to assist with the annual Notice to Reader statements.\nAssist the management/ other departments with data and analytics.\nSupport Director of Finance with any ad-hoc reporting to the management\nWhat are we looking for?\nPursuit of CPA Electives (Completed CPA Core Levels) is required.\nBachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and/or related field is preferred.\n5+ years of finance and/or accounting experience with progressive responsibilities.\nStrong understanding of key accounting principles.\nFlexible, curious, open-minded, and enjoy working in a fast-paced working environment.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\nWe thank all applicants for their interest.
