This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional with a passion for sustainability, environmental performance, quality improvement and data-driven decision making.\nWorking closely with our QESH Manager, Health & Safety Manager, Fleet Manager and Quality Manager, you will play a key role in supporting business-wide initiatives, reporting performance indicators and driving continual improvement projects that positively impact our people, customers and the environment.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nGather, analyse and report QESH and ESG performance data across environmental, quality, fleet and health & safety activities.\nSupport reporting for key metrics including greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, waste, water usage, vehicle performance, customer complaints, incidents and quality defects.\nUndertake research and analysis to identify opportunities for business improvement and operational efficiencies.\nDevelop data-driven business cases to support investment and continual improvement initiatives.\nAssist in the design, implementation, monitoring and verification of QESH improvement projects.\nMaintain QESH management systems and documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and reporting integrity.\nProduce content and communications for intranet updates, events, training programmes and awareness campaigns.\nSupport internal audits and external certification audits, including ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and FORS.\nAnalyse audit findings and performance trends to support ongoing improvement activities.\nSupport supplier management activities, procurement exercises and business integration projects.\nContribute to global sustainability initiatives alongside SMT Group colleagues across Europe, Africa and the USA.\nWhat You'll Bring\nA Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Management or a related discipline.\nStrong analytical, reporting and data-processing skills with excellent attention to detail.\nAdvanced IT skills and confidence using databases, reporting tools and business systems.\nStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.\nExcellent organisational, administrative, numeracy and literacy skills.\nA proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and problem solving.\nA genuine interest in sustainability, quality management and health & safety.\nDesirable\nMaster's degree in an environmental, sustainability or related discipline.\nMembership of ISEP (Institute of Sustainability & Environmental Professionals) or a similar professional body.\nExperience working with management systems or certification standards.\nPrevious exposure to ESG, sustainability reporting or continuous improvement projects.\nWhat's In It For You?\nAt SMT GB, we recognise that our people are key to our success.
