We're looking for a proactive Yard Person to join our team in Immingham. You'll play a key role in ensuring our machines, equipment and yard facilities are maintained to a high standard, helping support the smooth operation of our business and delivering an excellent experience for our customers.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nPreparing and valeting machines to a high standard ready for customer delivery.\nBooking machines into the depot, carrying out visual inspections and allocating storage locations.\nManaging yard space efficiently and ensuring equipment is stored safely and effectively.\nMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment across the yard.\nLoading and unloading machinery, working closely with transport providers to meet delivery schedules.\nSupporting courier movements and maintaining accurate records of all deliveries and collections.\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:\nExperience working in a yard, warehouse, transport, logistics or outdoor operational environment.\nAn understanding of construction equipment, heavy machinery or similar plant equipment.\nStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\nThe ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.\nGood communication skills and a proactive approach to work.\nA full UK driving licence and/or forklift licence would be advantageous.\nWhat We Offer\nAlongside a competitive salary, you'll benefit from a comprehensive package designed to support your health, wellbeing, finances and life outside of work.
