In this position, you will help ensure processes, procedures, and documentation are accurate, effective, and compliant with customer and company requirements.\nYou will work closely with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives, conduct audits, manage document control activities, and help drive continuous improvement across the facility. A typical day may include reviewing and updating controlled documents, assisting with internal and external audits, analyzing quality-related data, supporting corrective actions, and collaborating with employees and leadership to strengthen quality processes.\nThis role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance while developing expertise in quality systems and manufacturing best practices.\nHow You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock\nConduct audits of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and products to ensure compliance with established requirements.\nSupport internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation, tracking findings, and assisting with corrective action implementation.\nAnalyze quality data and trends to help identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.\nCreate, revise, and maintain controlled documents, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and customer specifications.\nCoordinate document control processes to ensure employees have access to current and accurate information.\nCollaborate with department leaders to provide training, guidance, and resources that support quality objectives.\nAssist in resolving product and process quality concerns through investigation, documentation, and follow-up activities.\nSupport efforts to maintain third-party certifications and compliance with quality management system requirements.\nRespond to employee questions regarding quality procedures and documentation requirements.\nDeliver quality system training to employees as needed to promote consistent execution of processes.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.\nProvide support to the Quality Team on special projects and other departmental initiatives.\nWhat You Need to Succeed\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nMinimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.\nStrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to read, interpret, and apply procedures, work instructions, technical documents, and safety requirements.\nStrong mathematical and analytical skills.\nIntermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nWillingness to work overtime as business needs require.\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.\nExperience supporting quality management systems in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with document control, auditing activities, or compliance processes.\nFamiliarity with corrective action programs and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience creating and maintaining controlled documentation such as procedures, work instructions, and forms.\nKnowledge of quality certifications and audit preparation
