Guided by our values of safety, loyalty, integrity and respect, we are committed to delivering meaningful value for shareholders, customers, employees and the communities where we operate.\nCareer Opportunity:\nResponsible for the performance of manual and machine tasks in the setup, maintenance, and operation of sheet-fed offset presses to accurately produce product to customer specifications.\nHow you will impact WestRock:\n* Operate various sheet-fed offset presses.\n* Reads work orders to determine setup specifications and instructions.\n* Starts machines and make trial runs to verify accuracy of machine setups.\n* Observes and monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.\n* Assures the image is registered from unit to unit and runs samples to make adjustments to assure print quality and color settings are in accordance with densitometer readings.\n* Follows all standard operating procedures relevant to the job, position, and department.\n* Performs routine adjustments during the press run and maintain quality throughout the run.\n* Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule.\n* Accurately follows instructions.\n* Maintains records of daily production, using specified forms.\n* Records production information such as amount of time spent on specific tasks.\n* Preserves and passes along customer artwork in clean and undamaged condition.\n* Keeps work area neat and clean.\n* Opens machines and removes/replaces damaged product, using hand tools.\n* Performs daily/monthly maintenance and troubleshooting.\n* Performs other job duties as assigned.\nWhat you need to succeed:\n* 1-3 years of printing experience preferred.\n* Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.\n* Must have basic computer skills (data entry).\n* Must have the ability to perform intermediate arithmetic including additions, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, ratios, etc.\n* Must be able to read a ruler.\n* Must be able to do accurate work.\n* Must demonstrate effective decision-making skills.\n* Must be able to self-manage time effectively.\n* Must be willing to work overtime as needed;
