PURPOSE:\nPerform general hand and table work, including loading and taking off and packing of finishing machines, operating small finishing machines, and performing periodic quality checks.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nOperates small finishing machines.\nHand strips and performs general table work.\nTrains new employees on all aspects of the job.\nOperates printing computers for carton labels.\nReads and follows SOP's for job.\nMaintains a clean work environment.\nMaintains quality in our products.\nPerforms minor maintenance and repairs on the small machines.\nReads and follows directions on job tickets.\nCounts product to ensure accuracy.\nDistinguishes color to ensure accuracy in quality.\nWorks on machine-driven processes, i.e., card wrapper, pixie strippers, etc.\nPerforms other job duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMust have a high school diploma or G.E.D.\nMust demonstrate mechanical aptitude.\nMust be able to write and speak simple sentences.\nMust have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.\nMust have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nMust have the ability to count and measure.\nMust be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.\nMust have basic personal computer skills.\nMust be able to maintain good attendance.\nMust be willing to work overtime as needed.\nMust be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without
