Responsibilities include executing the production schedule, managing planned and unplanned events, coaching and developing team members, providing training, handling manufacturing related administrative tasks, supporting maintenance, coordinating process control, ensuring product quality, and fostering positive employee relations.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nThe associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:\nOversee processing equipment and packing hall positions, including start-up checks. \nVerify code dates and correct packaging is applied. \nCollect, organize, and accurately enter paperwork at the end of each shift. \nEnforce food safety and quality programs on the production floor. \nTrain, coach, and support employees to perform their roles effectively. \nDrive production targets, optimize efficiencies, and minimize scrap. \nMonitor and review hourly shift efficiencies and implement improvements as needed. \nManage shift staffing and assignments. \nCollaborate with QA to address product standards and prevent substandard production. \nReview daily production records and outputs. \nAddress “Out of Control” processes and determine potential adjustments in consultation with the Production Manager. \nLead the shift by providing guidance, coaching, and encouragement to the team. \nServe as a key communication point between production and other departments. \nUtilize ERP systems for production tracking and reporting. \nConduct weekly inventory checks. \nCoordinate with Maintenance on operational issues such as equipment build-ups, jams, and production interruptions. \nComplete shift reports, including EOSR, logs, WIP, and rework documentation. \nResponsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success. \nMonitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company Procedures. \nApprove the vacation requests. \nCarry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure. \nIssue disciplinary action when needed. \nPerform other assigned duties. \nFollow Health and Safety rules and regulations. \nMust follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines. \nComply with all Company policies and procedures. \nQualifications\nExperience working in a bakery, food production, or packaging environment preferred. \nTeam player with good organizational skills, able to work independently, and focused on safe work practices. \nFlexible and dependable, with the ability to work varied schedules including overtime. \nEducation or experience in manufacturing or food production;
