As a member of the International Reporting team, you will work on the Company’s statutory financial reporting for various international entities. You will collaborate with other teams and business partners daily to ensure accurate and timely reporting.\nWhat you’ll do:\nManage the compliance reporting and audit process for various international entities including coordination of deliverables with 3rd party accountants, auditors, tax, legal and other cross functional teams\nMaintain the relationship with external auditors and 3rd party accountants in support of statutory financials\nMaintain a process to manage the timely and accurate preparation of external financial reports in accordance with appropriate GAAP guidelines\nEnsure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP reporting standards, including an understanding of GAAP to stat differences and the review of financial statements\nPrepare and compile supporting documents for external filings\nMonitor and assess new accounting pronouncements applicable to the company with an emphasis on external reporting\nStay up to date on changes and activities within the company and industry to ensure the company’s financial statements properly reflect any new developments\nPrepare flux and variance explanations as part of the audit process for various international entities\nImprove and document general processes for assigned areas\nDrive and provide support for ad hoc projects and analyses\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nUnderstanding of international financial reporting process and ability to navigate complex accounting items\nAccounting knowledge with an understanding of US GAAP and IFRS\nExceptional analytical skills and strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLookup’s, etc.\nAbility to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline driven environment\nExcellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and superior attention to detail\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization\nA proactive person who can multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment\nDetail-oriented with a high sense of urgency\nStrong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods\nAble to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team\nAble to work with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance\nBig 4 audit experience and industry experience (preferred)\nACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or in progress for qualification\n1+ years of accounting experience\nIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information.\n\"Default Together\" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
