Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.\nThe Company operates Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world, and Specs Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to making computing more human, in addition to Bitmoji, Saturn, and other digital services.\nWe're looking for a Content Trends, Associate Producer to join our Content team at Snap Inc!\nWhat you'll do:\nPlay a key role in identifying timely, trending, culturally relevant public content and creators on Snapchat\nCollaborate with fellow Trend Curators and Producers to help Snapchatters stay connected with their local and global communities through fresh, exciting, and informative Snaps. \nIdentify trends emerging creators, tentpoles moments and culturally relevant topics that our community cares about most on a daily basis while also being hyper reactive to new unexpected moments that arise during your shift\nIdentify and work with emerging content creators\nSurface timely, trending and fresh publicly submitted content\nWork collaboratively with a group of Trend Curators tasked with searching through thousands of snaps to identify tentpole moments, trends, timely conversations and culturally relevant themes\nReview and moderate submitted Snaps in real time\nEngage in ongoing conversations with engineering, moderation, and product teams to communicate and resolve any issues that arise during your shift\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nAn expert in US short from video trends, major pop culture moments and timely tentpole events\nDeep understanding of Gen Alpha, Gen Z and Millennials\nA highly motivated teammate who is hyper reactive, proactive and a skilled communicator\nOutstanding research and organizational skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and a sharp attention to detail\nStrong editorial eye and understanding of what makes an engaging piece of content\nSomeone up-to-date on pop culture, trends, and current events\nTeamplayer who is kind and respectful of other’s opinions\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBA or BS degree in relevant field\n1+ years of experience working in digital media, social, or content driven environments (i.e. internet trends, pop culture and hyper timely moments) \nAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBA or BS degree in relevant field\nPreferred previous experience at Snap\nSomeone who has a flexible schedule and the ability to work during nights and weekends, as needed\nExperience navigating multiple social platforms and demonstrated interest in short form content\n\"Default Together\" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
