The company develops Specs, advanced eyewear that seamlessly integrates digital experiences into the physical world.\nSpecs feature see-through lenses that place digital objects directly into three-dimensional space, powered by Snap OS, a proprietary, context-aware operating system designed for natural interaction with your hands and voice.\nSpecs Inc. also provides Lens Studio, a full suite of advanced developer tools that powers immersive augmented reality experiences across Specs, Snapchat, and other services.\nWe're looking for an Equipment Engineer to join our Equipment/Maintenance team at Specs inc!\nWhat you’ll do:\nYou will maintain and service semiconductor manufacturing and process equipment and infrastructure in our Cleanroom\n\nEquipment daily checks, preventative maintenance and repair\n\nRe-stocking and supply management\n\nEquipment process documentation and calibration\n\nFacility & infrastructure upkeep\n\nMonitor user activities in the clean room to ensure proper and safe operation of the tools\n\nReach out and coordinate with external services to assist in any major equipment repairs and upgrades\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nExperience with semiconductor processing equipment and facilities including installation, preventative maintenance planning, and troubleshooting\n\nDeep-level technical expertise in one or more major semiconductor process areas, such as thin-film deposition, lithography, or etch.\n\nExperience implementing and maintaining Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems for monitoring equipment performance and yield.\n\nProficiency with equipment control software and data logging systems for fault isolation and performance tracking.\n\nExperience of working in a cleanroom environment\n\nAsset & Inventory management experience\n\nSystematic problem solving\n\nExperience working and collaborating closely with cross functional teams - internally and externally with suppliers\n\nAbility to thrive in a dynamic product development environment\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nH&D or Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics or Electrical Engineering\n\nPrior work (7+ years) in clean room or chemical laboratory in a semiconductor manufacturing environment\n\nDemonstrated experience with vacuum technology, high-purity gas, and chemical delivery systems.\n\nFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, preventative maintenance, and asset history.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics or Electrical Engineering\n\nStartup and commissioning of Facilities systems.\n\nIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information.\n\"Default Together\" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
