This role is primarily focused on creating promotional digital assets that drive engagement and conversion across our eCommerce properties and the channels that support them.\nYou will collaborate closely with our in-house design team to develop modular promotional creative that scales across email, paid media, social, and site placements. The ideal candidate brings strong eCommerce sensibility; balancing elevated visual design with performance-driven thinking and AI-assisted workflows.\nThis is a hands-on execution role for a designer who understands how cohesive promotional creative drives revenue across multiple digital touchpoints and can bring vendor-provided imagery and reference assets to life through generative AI compositing and art direction.\nNote: We're seeking freelancers/independent contractors who ideally work during daytime hours (US timezone preferred), enabling collaboration on calls and real-time feedback sessions with our team.A link to your portfolio showcasing eCommerce and promotional design work is required to apply for this position. Applications without portfolio links will not be considered.\nHow you'll make an impact\nExecute visual creation of recurring promotional and seasonal themes across eCommerce-driven campaigns in collaboration with the in-house design team\nCreate modular promotional components that scale across email, paid media, social, and on-site placements\nDevelop high-impact email elements and, when needed, full email creative per brief and guidelines\nSupport digital merchandising efforts through compelling promotional assets aligned with team strategy\nTranslate approved marketing strategy and creative direction into conversion-focused digital assets\nExecute creative iterations based on performance insights, A/B testing, and campaign results provided by the team\nCreate composite generative AI imagery and product shots using vendor-provided source files and art direct them to align with brand style and campaign strategy \nMaintain organized, scalable files and reusable components within Figma and our Digital Asset Management tool\nWhat you'll need to succeed\n3+ years of experience in digital design, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or performance marketing environments\nStrong portfolio showcasing eCommerce campaigns and promotional digital creative (portfolio required)\nExperience creating assets that scale across multiple digital channels\nProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma\nStrong typography, layout, and image retouching skills\nExperience with generative AI tools for creating composite imagery and photo compositing\nFamiliarity with A/B testing, performance metrics, and optimization principles\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent promotional campaigns in a deadline-driven environment\nHigh attention to detail with strong ownership mindset\nReliable availability for daytime collaboration and sync with US-based team (calls, feedback sessions, etc.)\nStrong communication skills and ability to take and implement direction efficiently\nExcellent collaboration skills and ability to work seamlessly with an in-house design team\nWhat would make you stand out\nExperience creating light motion graphics or animated digital assets (particularly valuable for this role)\nProficiency in generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Runway, etc.) for creating and iterating composite lifestyle photography and product imagery from vendor-provided source files, with strong art direction skills\nProven expertise in eCommerce and retail creative (strong portfolio demonstrating this highly preferred)\nProven familiarity designing within CMS-driven eCommerce environments\nExperience working with Growth teams in performance-driven marketing organizations\nDemonstrated use of AI tools to enhance creative efficiency and output\nExperience as a successfully balancing concurrent projects\nAbout this engagement\n Contractor/Freelancer Status: This is a part-time freelance/contractor position (not a full-time employee role)\nHours & Flexibility: 15-20 hours per week, with the option to scale up to additional hours as projects demand\nTimezone Preference: US-based or overlapping daytime availability preferred to enable real-time collaboration\nCommunication: Regular async and sync touchpoints with the in-house design team and Creative Director via teams and email\n Tools: You'll have access to Figma, Wrike (our project management tool), and our DAM platform.
