When our people thrive, so does our innovation.\nIf you're looking to make an impact and grow with a team that values you, come join us!\nJob Description\nThe Compliance Paralegal supports Snap Finance’s Legal and Compliance functions across licensing, marketing compliance, litigation, regulatory filings, and related operational activities. This role helps coordinate documentation, track deadlines and obligations, maintain organized records, support regulatory and litigation matters, and assist with day-to-day compliance reviews and processes. The position partners closely with Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Sales, and other business teams to help the organization meet its regulatory and legal obligations.\nHow you'll make an impact:\nSupport licensing, registration, renewal, and regulatory filing activities.\nMaintain accurate licensing records, calendars, supporting documentation, and status reporting.\nAssist with marketing compliance activities, including review coordination, documentation, tracking, and maintenance of approved materials and compliance records.\nSupport litigation matters through document collection, matter organization, deadline tracking, internal coordination, and preparation of supporting materials for attorney review.\nResearch regulatory and licensing requirements and support responses to regulators, agencies, bank partners, and internal stakeholders.\nPartner with Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Sales, and other business teams to gather information and resolve compliance, licensing, and litigation-related requests.\nSupport audits, examinations, regulatory inquiries, documentation requests, issue remediation, and process improvements.\nMonitor deadlines and regulatory developments that may affect licensing or other compliance obligations.\nMaintain organized records, trackers, and supporting evidence across assigned workstreams.\nWhat you'll need to succeed:\n3+ years of relevant experience in paralegal work, legal operations, regulatory compliance, licensing, or a related function.\nStrong organization, documentation, research, and deadline-management skills.\nHigh attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring obligations accurately.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and identify when an issue should be escalated to Legal or Compliance leadership.\nAbility to work effectively with confidential, sensitive, and privileged information.\nComfort working across multiple workstreams, including licensing, marketing compliance, and litigation support.\nWhat would make you stand out:\nBachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or relevant equivalent experience.\nExperience in consumer finance, fintech, lending, lease-to-own, banking, or another regulated financial-services environment.\nExperience supporting state licensing, regulatory filings, renewals, or examinations.\nExperience supporting litigation, investigations, discovery, or legal matter management.\nExperience with marketing or advertising compliance in a regulated industry.\nFamiliarity with regulatory portals, entity-management systems, compliance-management systems, or matter-management tools.\nParalegal, compliance, or licensing-related certification.\nWhy Join Us:\nGenerous paid time off\n\nCompetitive medical, dental & vision coverage\n\n401K with company match for US\n\nCompany-paid life insurance\n\nCompany-paid short-term and long-term disability\n\nAccess to mental health and wellness resources\n\nCompany-paid volunteer time to do good in your community\n\nLegal coverage and other supplemental options\n\nA value-based culture where growth opportunities are endless\n\nMore:\nSnap values diversity and all qualified applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
