This position is responsible for developing and supporting the SAP Business Objects (BO) reporting environment as well as monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving SAP Data Services job issues. The BIA’s role is to deliver timely reporting, maintain data quality, and support business operations. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive support mindset, and effective communication to technical and non-technical teams.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain reports using SAP Business Objects tools including Web Intelligence and Universe Design Tool\nDevelop and maintain BO Universes based on business requirements and data models\nPartner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions \nWork with business users to test and troubleshoot reports, update schedules, and provide report access \nMonitor, schedule, and troubleshoot SAP Data Services jobs to ensure timely and accurate data loads\nValidate data accuracy across Data Services, data warehouse, and BO reporting \nDocument reporting solutions, data definitions, and Data Services workflows \nProvide end user support and training as needed \nQualifications\n Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services, including job monitoring and troubleshooting\nTwo or more years experience with SAP Business Objects WebI Reporting, and Universe design\nBachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience\nProficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA) \nKnowledge in ETL processes, Data Warehouse modeling, and reporting best practices\nPrior experience in production support environment and issue resolution\nThe following characteristics:\nStrong problem-solving mindset, especially in business user support and troubleshooting scenarios\nConduct effective stakeholder interviews and translate documentation into requirements\nEffective communication of technical and non-technical concepts to stakeholders at various levels\nExcellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks\nDetail oriented with a focus on data accuracy, quality, and reliability\nAdaptable
